Apr 4-8 | Iain Provan | West Coast Presbyterian Pastor's Conference. Iain will be delivering seven talks on preaching the Old Testament over the week. The conference takes place at the Mount Hermon Conference Center in Santa Cruz. Further details are at this link. Registration is required.

May 16 at 10:00 am - 12:30 pm | James Houston | Pastors' Address by Dr. Jim Houston - The Pastor's Identity as Being 'In Christ' - Pastors are invited to join Dr. Jim Houston for this morning address, in which he will critique the modern obsession with professional identity. We will explore how far Confucian culture still influences social hierarchy in the local church. We will also consider where revision is needed in our denominational doctrinal ecclesiology. What new freedoms are needed locally to practice the priesthood of all believers? Join us as we ask whether and how the Pauline identity of being "in Christ" remains applicable to our contemporary lives as Christians. We look forward to engaging in much discussion and dialogue around these issues. Location: North Point Alliance Church.


May 26-27 | Craig Gay | The McDonald Centre at the University of Oxford is pleased to have Craig Gay as one of the keynote speakers for their conference, "Everyday Ethics: A Future for Moral Theology?" This is an interdisciplinary conference of theologians, philosophers, social scientists, and social anthropologists. Other keynote speakers include Michael Banner, Luke Bretherton, Molly Farneth and Jennifer Herdt, among many others. Registration is open. Please follow the link to register.

Jun 9 - 11 | Loren Wilkinson | The Abbey Summer School 2016: The theme for the Abbey Summer School 2016 in Edinburgh, Scotland, is "Fully Human," with Loren Wilkinson as the keynote speaker. Loren will give three lecture over the three day summer school, titled "Creation & Christ," "Fasting & Feasting," and "Pilgrims & Virtual Progress". 

Regent alumnus and sessional instructor Sharon Jebb Smith will also be leading a plenary session.
