Regent alumna Brenda Noble (DipCS'85) published this new children's novel Home at Last that shows church planting from the perspective of a 10-year-old Central Thai boy, with fabulous illustrations by Khun Donut of Kanok Bannasarn. It presents: the life of missionary families in a rural setting, including home schooling; Thai and foreign Christians cooperating in friendship evangelism; soccer ministry, English teaching, children’s camp, and short-termers.

The book avoids the word “missionary” but shows a conversion experience and ends with an invitation to pray. Brenda hopes that God will use her book to help people pray for families living overseas to bring the Good News to places it isn’t normally heard.

It is on sale in Canada through the OMF Book Room, $6.00 CAD Retail: ca.books@omfmail.com or 1-888-657-8010.
